Arleen Coach Hire is a family run business. Arleen's was founded by Arthur and Mary Spiller in 1965 starting out with one vehicle and a contract for a school run and another which transported the miners to and from work. The company grew quickly and in 1975 Arthur was able to purchase and set up another coach company in Midsomer Norton which in now run by one of his sons, Martin Spiller. Sadly Arthur Spiller passed away in 2007, Mary Spiller still likes to stay involved with Arleen Coaches which is now run by Alan Spiller, his wife Carol Spiller and Alan's two sons Justin and Kristian Spiller.
Within the family currently running Arleen's there is over 100 years experience within the coaching trade! While Arleen Coach Hire wasn't founded until 1965 coaching has been in the family since 1925 when Mary Spiller's great grandfather George Alford operated charabancs which were used to transport groups.
