As a provider of work-based learning programmes and bespoke training packages for business, our courses are all designed to enhance the skills sets of your employees, adding to their continual professional development.
The college is also a major provider of apprenticeships. Working with well-known employers in and around the region, apprenticeships are a great alternative to traditional learning, giving young and mature learners alike the opportunity to earn as they learn as they work alongside experienced staff in the workplace to gain nationally recognised qualifications.
For those leaving the Navy, Army or Air Force and looking to retrain in an exciting new career, the Wiltshire College Resettlement Team is on hand to assist service personnel make the transition back into civilian life with a range of bespoke training packages designed to make the most of Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) and Standard Learning Credits (SLC) or established training courses.
Wiltshire College has recently benefitted from significant investment, including a £4 million purpose-built Construction Skills Centre at the Trowbridge campus which opened in September 2015, as well as the opening of a £21 million state of the art campus in Chippenham, equipped with the latest industry standard engineering workshops.
