National Windscreens has appointed Craig Gibson as its new Sustainability and Compliance Manager, highlighting the company’s dedication to sustainable operations. In his new role, Craig will lead the company's sustainability team, overseeing regulatory compliance and health & safety across the business.

Craig brings with him 21 years of experience in the automotive glazing industry, providing him with extensive knowledge of the sector. He started his career at National Windscreens as a trainee technician at the Southampton branch, where he obtained NVQ level 2 and 3 qualifications before being promoted to regional trainer and NVQ assessor. Most recently, in March 2023, he was appointed as the ESG manager, where he has already made a significant impact.

Craig expressed his pleasure with his promotion:

"I started at National Windscreens 21 years ago as a trainee windscreen technician. With the company's support and access to extensive training, I advanced to become a technical trainer/assessor and then ESG manager. During my time as ESG Manager, I have worked closely with Magda Klein, Cary Group's Sustainability Manager, and she has been instrumental in my development and consistently supports our sustainability goals.

“This promotion allows me to utilise my hands-on industry experience to oversee and develop the company's sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with industry regulations. National Windscreens is a fantastic workplace, offering continuous learning opportunities and fostering a supportive environment that has enabled my career growth."

National Windscreens Finance Director, James Reynolds, also praised the appointment, stating:

"Craig has been instrumental in supporting our sustainability achievements over the past few years, actively contributing to our recent award of 'Sustainability Initiative of the Year' from the Insurance Times.

“He has revolutionised our sustainability offerings and added immense value in communicating our award-winning sustainability program to our partners. He joined the company as a trainee technician at the Southampton branch. Most recently, he was appointed as ESG manager in March 2023, where he has already made an exceptional impact.”
