The technical manager at leading luxury motorhome specialist Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld has spoken with pride at reaching 30 years of service with the family business.

James Prime is hitting the landmark with the company, based in Cresswell Park, Valley Drive, Stafford, having first joined as a teenager in 1995.

James has progressed to lead the specialist servicing team, which offers customers the full range of after-sales services and products, including chassis and engine servicing along with vehicle repairs.

Drawing upon more than 45 years of heritage, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld helps people find their dream motorhome from an environmentally-friendly, purpose-built sales centre.

Now the UK’s largest and most experienced dealership for Erwin Hymer Group motorhomes, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld stocks leading brands including Carado, Dethleffs, Laika, Niesmann+Bischoff and HYMER.


As well as its showroom selling new and used vehicles, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld boasts a service centre and MOT testing facility to meet customer aftersales requirements.

Operating a state or the art purpose built 1,000 square metre workshop with 20 independent technical bays, the company has the facilities to perform any mechanical or habitation repair. All workshop technical staff are factory trained and fully certified to industry standards.

James said:

“The business owners are very nice people to work for. I came here when I was aged 19 and it has been a pleasure to work for the family for such a long time. They treat you with respect and show an interest in you and your work, making it a very family orientated place to work.

“Within the service team we have specialisms which complement one another and we are proud of our product knowledge, which results in high levels of customer satisfaction. We always listen to vehicle owners when they describe faults as the customer is king to us.”
