Former Lookers Audi boss to spearhead strategic new growth for innovative automotive video software leader
Multi-channel automotive video software company VehicleVision has appointed former Lookers franchise director Steve Dean as managing director, it has been confirmed.
Widely credited for his role in driving success for Lookers, now one of the largest automotive retailers in the UK and Ireland, Dean brings more than 35 years of leadership and experience to the senior role.
VehicleVision specialises in delivering class-leading video software, skills training and product support which enables technicians carrying out workshop inspections and repairs to record videos and share them with customers.
The pioneering Leicester-based company already counts leading global vehicle makers Audi, Toyota and Lexus as clients and is on a mission to expand. Last year, VehicleVision secured a new three-year deal with Audi UK to supply its Audi Cam aftersales video solution for its entire brand dealer network.
It also launched VehicleVision Japan and continues to work with automotive clients including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), multi-franchise car dealer groups and single car dealers throughout the world, delivering trust and transparency to vehicle owners globally.

Former Franchise Director of Lookers Audi UK, Dean was managing director of Scotland’s Lomond Group after it was acquired by Lookers in 2012 and then led the rapid growth of the division. Dean also worked for more than seven years as Audi Brand Director at both Jardine Motors Group and Vindis Group.
