Gregg Latchams has named local organisation Feeding Bristol as its chosen charity for the next two years.

The Bristol and London based law firm, which is committed to supporting regional, philanthropic causes, has chosen Feeding Bristol because it looks to increase the local community enthusiasm to grow and cook food and increase the sustainable supply of good quality local produce to the city.

The charity also addresses the issues of mental health and wellbeing which can be brought upon by poor access to nutrition, through a focus on greater food security.

Feeding Bristol, which strives to increase food security across all social and cultural communities of Bristol, is working to influence long-term economic and national policy changes to ensure no one goes hungry.

Andy Street, chair of trustees at Feeding Bristol, said:

“We are delighted that Gregg Latchams has chosen Feeding Bristol as their local charity for the next two years.

“Achieving food security in Bristol for the young and for other vulnerable groups in the city relies heavily on the support of local businesses like Gregg Latchams and we very much look forward to working with them over the next two years.”

Ewen Macgregor, associate director at Gregg Latchams, said:

“We’re really looking forward to supporting such a great cause which looks to benefit the people of Bristol, it’s core to the way we do business at Gregg Latchams and part of our ethos of playing an active part in our own community.

“Despite having only been around since 2017, the charity has already achieved so much, and we are looking forward to seeing what they accomplish in the coming years.”

Separate to financial donations, Gregg Latchams will also be partnering with Feeding Bristol through volunteering on upcoming projects and providing pro bono legal advice as and when it is required.
