Halesowen College is thrilled to announce its first-ever Christmas Present Appeal, aimed at supporting children and families in need across our local area.
All donations received will be gifted to the Salvation Army, a respected charity renowned for its dedication to helping those less fortunate. Donations of children’s toys and gifts for teenagers are welcomed.
To support the Christmas campaign, the college will be taking ‘CEDRIC’ the digital bus out around the area and will be reaching out to local people and businesses to donate gifts during the week commencing 2nd December.
A list of locations will be posted on the college’s social media.
On Friday 6th December, the bus will be stationed in Somers Square Halesowen where College staff will be accepting donations from members of the public.
All donations will be delivered to the Salvation Army on Monday 9th December.
Between 10-18th December, the bus will be visiting various locations where people can speak to staff about how they can upskill their digital literacy.
Jacquie Carman, Chief Executive and Principal at Halesowen College, said
“Christmas is a special time of the year, but for many it can be difficult. We hope that our Christmas Appeal will go some way in supporting families and to spread the good will of Halesowen College and the wider community, that lays at the heart of Christmas spirit.”
