Since its launch in 2021, the Dryden Enterprise Centre (DEC) has provided a range of services and support to help businesses succeed in the current economic climate. This includes workshops, seminars, networking events, mentoring, and access to funding, resources and office space.

Through its various initiatives, NTU Enterprise has helped over 115 businesses and 1,014 people to develop their ideas, including start-ups, SMEs, and established businesses. At the DEC, the team have developed a space and environment where businesses can thrive , grow their networks, take advantage of new opportunities and make lasting friendships.

"We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone and the success we have achieved in supporting businesses,"
said Megan Powell Vreeswijk, Head of NTU Enterprise.
"Our team of experts are dedicated to helping businesses grow and succeed, and we look forward to continuing to support the local community."

At the centre of this success, the DEC offers modern, spacious office space in the centre of Nottingham. It is a place for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and businesses to collaborate, connect and grow.

The DEC is built on a vision to build a business community, to support collaboration between businesses and NTU, connecting research, founders, and innovators in a space that is 'best-in-class' in the heart of Nottingham.

Ketchup Marketing

Ketchup Marketing is a full-service marketing agency that has experienced impressive growth over the last three years. They became tenants of the Dryden Enterprise Centre (DEC) in 2021 and participated in NTU Enterprise's fully-funded UpScaler program.

Since becoming commercial tenants and members of NTU's enterprise community, they have grown their team from 3 to 15, and taken on more space at the DEC as the team developed.

Ketchup's Sales and Operations Director, Paul Jones, credits the DEC and UpScaler program for supporting their growth and helping them to develop their team:

"We've enjoyed a brilliant 11 months of networking with other businesses and SMEs since we became part of the Dryden Enterprise Community. You would not believe what effect the DEC has had on our organisation. We have grown from 3 to 15 people, gone through a brand refresh, launched a new website, learned some fantastic things, and met some fabulous people. We hope to keep the ties we have forged with NTU and build on them."

The DEC and UpScaler program provided Ketchup with valuable resources and opportunities to network with other businesses and SMEs, learn new skills and techniques, and overcome growth barriers.
