SMB College Group Level 2 Plumbing students have been offered employment contracts by JPD after a visit to the College!

JPD visited the College to give a lecture to the plumbing students and several students were successful in receiving contracts of employment after handing in their CVs!

Sarah Midgley, Level 2 Plumbing student, said

“I feel ecstatic and very grateful to have been given this opportunity and really excited to start my new job.”

Talking about her time at the College, Sarah said,

“My experience with SMB College Group has been really good, any problems or any queries I’ve had the lecturers have always helped me and made anything that I’ve struggled with really easy to overcome and really enjoyable.”

Lewis Gaskell, Project Coordinator at JPD, said

Following their visit to the college our General Manager - David Hind and Site Coordinating Manager - Glenn Statham emphasised the positive engagement which was received from the students along with a willingness to ask questions and delve into our business. Plumbing and Gas is taught at SMB College Group’s Stephenson Campus in Coalville, the College recently opened a brand-new plumbing and gas centre with state-of-the art industry standard facilities.
