DJH's specialist corporate finance advisory team in Manchester has announced the promotion of Jon Else from Director to Partner, further strengthening its senior leadership team.
Jon joined the DJH Corporate Finance team (formerly DTE Corporate Finance) with a wealth of experience across both professional services and industry roles. His promotion reflects his significant contribution to the firm's continued growth and success in delivering exceptional client outcomes.
A chartered accountant who qualified with PwC's Manchester office, Jon brings over 20 years of corporate finance and strategic leadership experience to his new role. Prior to joining DJH, he served as Chief Financial Officer at a legal services business, where he successfully led multiple refinancing initiatives, acquisitions, and disposals while transforming the firm's business model. His achievements in this role were recognised when he was named Finance Director of the Year (Merseyside and Cheshire, sub-£12m turnover) in 2018.
Since joining DJH Corporate Finance, Jon has led numerous successful transactions, including the acquisition of Paul White & Tiger Feet for BGC Wholesale and Ardenton Capital, the sale of RJ Urmson Group to HSL Compliance, the sale of 3BM Group to RSK Group, and multiple due diligence assignments for private equity-backed legal services businesses.
Matt Beckley, Managing Partner at DJH Corporate Finance, commented:
"Jon's promotion to Partner is well-deserved recognition of his exceptional contribution to our firm and our clients. His unique blend of corporate finance expertise and operational leadership experience adds significant value to our advisory capabilities. As we continue to grow our presence in the North-West market, Jon's leadership will be instrumental in delivering outstanding results for our clients."
Jon Else added:
"I am delighted to take on this new role at DJH Corporate Finance. We have an excellent reputation in the market, and I look forward to continuing to drive growth and success alongside Matt and the corporate finance team. Our strong pipeline of transactions across various sectors demonstrates the trust our clients place in us."
The news comes hot off the back of the promotion of DJH’s upcoming Corporate Finance adviser Lewis Pearson to Director, and the division taking on the DJH name becoming the specialist transactional advisory team for the UK top 50 accountancy group.
