EY has invested in growing the local presence of the Capital and Debt Advisory team based in its Manchester office, as demand for its services increases across the North.
The presence of a larger established team, with senior representation in the North will provide greater regional support and advice to northern based businesses and management teams.
This will also enable greater collaboration with other EY teams based in the regions, whilst still receiving support from the wider Capital and Debt Advisory team in London. The combined UK Capital and Debt Advisory team now comprises a total of 35 advisors.
Jane Hartley will head up the team and joins EY following senior lending roles at Clydesdale Yorkshire Bank, Lloyds Banking Group and Allied Irish Bank where she has over 15 years’ experience in providing funding solutions to SMEs, mid-market corporates and private equity-backed businesses across the North West and the Midlands.
Also joining the team as an executive, is Tom Boyle who has moved from his assistant manager role in EY Manchester’s Assurance team, where he worked on several key audit accounts in the region.
Bob Ward, Managing Partner for EY in the North West, said:
“We’ve always offered fantastic capital and debt advisory services to our clients in the North, but I’m delighted that that we now have an established and growing team here in the Manchester office. “I would like to welcome both Jane and Tom to the team. Their presence here in the North allows us to further expand our offering within the region and build on our strong credentials within this area of the market. I’m confident that Jane’s experience will allow us to do just that and ensure that we have local people working on local transactions.”
Jane and Tom will work with senior manager Danyal Khan to cover the entirety of the Capital and Debt Advisory offering, including leveraged finance and private equity, corporate, hedging and structured finance.
