Haines Watts, Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors in Tamworth are delighted to announce that from 1st April 2017 they have acquired the practice of John Pye & Co, Sutton Coldfield.
John Pye has had an accountancy practice in Sutton Coldfield since 2005 and has decided that it’s time to retire. He looked to Haines Watts, Tamworth, whom he says “have a great business and reputation in the area’’. He has known Partners, Steve Butler and Darren Barlow for many years. John added “I am looking forward to my retirement and I plan to spend some time in France with my spare time. I had many interested parties wanting to buy my practice but I wanted to ensure that my clients received excellent service by a long established company and in choosing Haines Watts Tamworth I feel they are the people to deliver on this”.
David Watts, Manager at John Pye will transfer to Haines Watts as part of the acquisition and to help with the transition of John Pye’s clients. David joins the growing team at Tamworth. In the last few weeks, the firm has also added a Business Development Manager to the team and boosted the Audit team with an Audit Senior and Audit Assistant.
