Edgbaston-based accountancy firm, JW Hinks LLP, has announced the arrival of four new team members following a drive in its property, healthcare and corporate tax services.
Senior Accountant Mohammad Amzad, Property Services Semi Senior Accountant David Attwood, Corporation Tax Assistant Manager Lucy Pilkington and Accounts Assistant Shannon Harris have joined the leading Midlands firm on a full-time basis.
Mohammad, an ACCA qualified accountant, joins the healthcare department from London-based accountancy firm Elan & Co. As well as specialising in doctors, dentists and other healthcare professionals, he has experience within the food and drink, property and construction industries and has a strong interest in the tech and IT sector. His recent work includes helping a client claim more than £500,000 under the Research & Development (R&D) tax credits scheme.
AAT-qualified David joins the property department, which works with a number of residential property managers to prepare specialist service charge accounts. He joins from a well-known nationwide property management company.
Lucy is an expert in the Corporation Tax aspect of company group structures, as well as Research & Development and Capital Allowance claims. Lucy has shared her expertise on radio and is featured in several magazine articles as an expert in Corporate Tax.
Finally, Shannon joins JW Hinks as a graduate in Accounting and Finance. She has experience in Management Accounts - a service which the firm is keen to promote to Midlands-based businesses.
