One of the South West’s leading independent accountancy, tax and business advisory firms, Milsted Langdon, has promoted Martin Johnson to Partner, recognising his dedication and extensive expertise.
Martin originally joined in 2007 as an apprentice and quickly established himself as an integral part of the team.
Martin obtained his ACCA membership initially before recently becoming a member of the ICAEW. Martin has continued to develop his skills and knowledge, becoming a trusted adviser to many clients across the South West and further afield.
He has risen through the ranks based on the invaluable guidance and support he provides to clients across a broad range of sectors, but particularly in the agricultural and rural affairs sector.
His first-hand experience allows him to provide practical, tailored advice to owner-managed businesses and partnerships in this sector, helping them to thrive in an ever-changing agricultural landscape.
Commenting on his promotion, Martin said:
"I am delighted to be promoted to Partner at Milsted Langdon. Having joined as an apprentice, my career has thrived at Milsted Langdon where I have developed excellent long-standing relationships with my clients in the process, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with them to support their growth and success."
Martin is a professional member of both the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and the Agricultural Law Association (ALA), reflecting his commitment to supporting the rural community.
Rachel Hotham, People Partner at Milsted Langdon, added:
"Martin's promotion is well deserved, and we are thrilled to have him join the Partnership.
“The fact that Martin joined the firm from college and has reached his goal of becoming a Partner is a fantastic success story and testament to our learning and development initiatives in supporting his career ambitions.
“Further, his specialist knowledge in the agricultural and rural affairs sector, combined with his hands-on approach, has been invaluable to our clients and the firm. We are confident that Martin will continue to play a key role in driving our firm forward."
