Cheshire-headquartered Miss Money Savvy, which aims to be the UK’s leading community-based money management website, recently sponsored a high-profile networking event which attracted a sold-out audience of 150 attendees.

The event, hosted by LSH Auto in partnership with the Women of the Year Awards, and themed ‘Women in Sport’, featured an inspirational panel of elite athletes and sports professionals. Yvonne Harrison, CEO of Women in Football, chaired a thought-provoking discussion with former Lionesses Jill Scott MBE and Lindsay Johnson, professional golfer and broadcaster Sophie Walker, and British taekwondo athlete and Olympian Bianca Cook (née Walkden).

Held at Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham, the event provided a powerful platform to inspire and connect professionals. The esteemed panel shared their proudest moments, reflected on the progression of their sports, discussed challenges they had faced, and provided leadership insights. They also emphasised the importance of paving the way for future generations of female athletes.

Led by pioneering businesswoman and entrepreneur Emma Elston MBE, Miss Money Savvy has been launched to help customers improve their finances and find the best providers for their household bills. As a key sponsor, Emma spoke at the event to share insight into the new platform and how Miss Money Savvy is empowering customers to take financial control, connecting them with trusted, carefully vetted partners and helping them to save money.
