Birmingham-based BHSF Occupational Health (OH) has successfully achieved reaccreditation under the national Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS) scheme for a second year.

While continuing to grow its offering across the UK and Republic of Ireland, BHSF OH has demonstrated its commitment to achieving high standards and excellent service delivery in all areas of occupational health and wellbeing. As a result the nationwide OH provider has been accredited by the professionally-led scheme, which is recognised as the ‘gold standard’ assessment in the occupational health sector.

SEQOHS, which is managed by the Royal College of Physicians, is about setting, maintaining and raising standards in OH services. BHSF OH has worked hard to develop a culture of clinical standard operating procedures (SOPs) which underpin the high level of quality that sits at the heart of its service delivery.

Sue Burke, Clinical Director at BHSF OH, says:

“Over the last year, maintaining the standards and professional behaviours demanded of SEQOHS has been key to our success. BHSF OH has enjoyed significant growth over the last few years. This has enabled us to develop as a business and position ourselves as a leading nationwide provider of OH services.

“Our commitment to excellence and our desire to exceed our customers’ expectations filters in to every part of our organisation ensuring that we deliver the same high quality service right across the UK from Cork to Cambridge and Cromarty.

“We seek to work with partners who are similarly driven to secure consistently good processes and principles, promoting an effective and productive working environment and so we are delighted that our current and future customers will be reassured by our ongoing SEQOHS accreditation.”

SEQOHS accreditation is a measure of quality that provides independent and impartial recognition of service providers who demonstrate that high quality standards, required from the scheme, have been met.
