Ordo Hires New Marketing Director Following 250% YOY Growth

Manchester based oral health care specialists, Ordo, recently appointed a new Marketing Director Emma Harnett, following year-on-year growth of over 250%. The appointment further pushes the company towards becoming a household name and key competitor in the oral health care space. 

Previously, Emma worked across global brand marketing at Dyson, which included the launch of NPD across floorcare and personal care categories, as well the opening of their first store in Tokyo. She also held senior level marketing positions at JD Sports, as well as additional retail marketing roles supporting US retailers and direct to consumer channels. Now at Ordo, Emma will be a key pillar in growing brand awareness and consideration globally. One way the team plans to achieve this is by refining the brand's positioning, growing retail accounts and switching up the social, influencer and PR strategy.


Recently winning The Grocer Champion Award, Ordo boasts an impressive year in both growth and sales as the brand proudly holds a 4% share in the electric toothbrush category and 10% share in the flosser category. 

 

Part of this success is due to the increase in sales growth across the retail sector, which currently stands at a 67% increase. Not only is this impressive, but Ordo is also currently the only brand to be driving significant growth, such as this, in the oral health care category. 

 

It’s no surprise following the above that Ordo is also one of the top 50 fastest-growing businesses in the North West, expanding its reach far beyond its humble beginnings certifying itself as a top retailer in USA, UK, AUS, NZ, SA, EU.
