Abergavenny Food Festival

What "With a huge array of the best regional speciality food producers and demonstrations from top chefs, the Abergavenny Christmas Food Festival promises to be a great mix of good produce, festive cheer and tastings – all happening in and around Abergavenny’s Market Hall and Brewery Yard.

Abergavenny Food Festival is the biggest and best-loved food festival in Wales. Established in 1999, it was set up to celebrate the craft, diversity and culture of food from across the country. The award winning festival now exhibits over 200 of the finest food and drink producers, a variety of expert demonstrations and a line-up of outstanding and well-known chefs, welcoming over 30,000 visitors to the beautiful market town each year."


Llandudno Christmas Fair

What "Our event for the first time this year is expanding into Trinity Square in addition to Madoc street. This will mean this year we are doubling the size of the event, certainly making us one of the largest Christmas Fayre’s in Wales, attracting more than 30,000 visitors over the 4 days.

It is being organised and promoted by Llandudno Development Partnership with the assistance of Conwy County Borough Council, Welsh Government, Llandudno Town Council, North Wales Regional Tourism Partnership, Llandudno Hospitality, Mostyn Estates & the Victoria Centre.

In this new area we are keen to promote more Food and Drink, including beers from the many Microbreweries in the area. Great Orme Brewery of Llandudno will be hosting a bar serving 10 local beers on draft and with our entertainment very close by, visitors can savour the great line up of entertainment from 11.00am till 7.00pm.

We are pleased to say we will now have around 140 stalls offering everything you need for that festive cheer!

    Aberglasney Winter Fair

    What "Towns all over Wales have a festive fair but none rival the one held annually at Aberglasney Gardens for location.

    For two days over the weekend of December the 5th and 6th, as well as a special afternoon and evening opening on Friday the 4th of December, this world renowned site will be transformed into a ‘Winter Wonderland’ and Christmas shopper’s paradise.

    The annual event is now one of the biggest events of its type with almost 100 stalls selling gifts, crafts, decorations and fine food.

    This year you can expect even more magic too.... as Twilight fall the Gardens will be specially lit and entertainment ranging from traditional choirs to silver bands will perform across the weekend.

    Meanwhile for gifts unlike anything you’ll find on the high street this is certainly the place to shop. From mohair teddy bears and hand stitched leather handbags to contemporary jewellery and vintage china, children’s books and cashmere knitwear to Christmas cards and candlesticks, Aberglasney’s restored grade II* listed mansion will be filled with stalls as will a large marquee on the North Lawn in front of the mansion itself.

    What "Enjoy two days of fun and festivities for all the family as Caerphilly town transforms itself into a Christmas shopping paradise with over 90 food, drink and craft stalls, many of which will be displaying locally made goods. Along with stalls is music, entertainment and workshops. Enter the Castle's mighty walls and enjoy the festive atmosphere with stalls selling unusual gifts and crafts, tasty food and delicious drinks. This year the theme is Victorian with entertainment in the Castle and town."
