Cin Cin, a thriving Italian restaurant in the heart of Brighton’s North Laines, is set to become even more successful following the opening of a second restaurant in Hove – thanks to a funding deal from NatWest Bank, and the support of the Enterprise Finance Guarantee scheme governed by The British Business Bank.

Having started in the back of a vintage Fiat van, Cin Cin’s handmade pasta and authentic antipasti has proved to be very popular with local residents, bringing their distinctive Italian cooking to Brighton. David Toscano started the business whilst working as a solicitor, and took his passion to the next level by opening Cin Cin’s first Restaurant in Vine Street, Brighton two years ago.

The new restaurant will continue the business’s passion for serving up delicious antipasti, handmade pasta, aperitifs and Italian wines in a welcoming open bar and kitchen setting. The NatWest loan has supported the purchase and refurbishment of the new restaurant, creating over 10 jobs in the local area.

David Toscano said:

“Having grown the business from the back of a Vintage van, it is exciting to see Cin Cin go from strength to strength and become increasingly popular with local residents and visitors.

“Thanks to NatWest’s support, we are able to take our passion for Italian cuisine to Hove, with the opening of our second restaurant. We look forward to serving our top quality food and drink to local residents for many years to come.”

Andrew Glyn-Jones, NatWest Relationship Manager, said:

“Cin Cin has been a real local success story, and we were delighted to support them as they continue to grow. I am sure the Hove restaurant will prove just as popular as the restaurant in Brighton.

“I look forward to eating at the new restaurant, and I wish David and his team every success for the future.”
