Dallas Burston Polo Club, set in the heart of Warwickshire’s rolling countryside on a 600 acre-estate, has recently played host to one of the UK’s most prestigious car auctions.
The club was chosen by Silverstone Auctions, a world-class specialist auction house, as the venue for its latest Porsche sale. Over 200 buyers from around the world bid for an amazing array of cars, with one Porsche 911 GT3 selling for £191,250.
With five stunning locations on-site, including the IXL Events Centre (with a 3,000-person capacity), QEII Golden Jubilee Marquee, Colonial Clubhouse, The Millstone Hare pub and the latest addition, the Cloud Pavillion the venue can accommodate a host of activities, from small intimate weddings to 1,000 guest affairs, corporate hospitality, car launches, equestrian eventing, polo matches, fun days, team-building days and so much more. The six polo grounds and Europe’s largest all-weather SuperArena® are all within easy reach of the venues and provide spectacular viewing points.
Dallas Burston Polo Club has also accommodated the launch of the Fiat Tipo, a private event with 200 invited guests who enjoyed corporate hospitality throughout the day, including a state-of-the-art presentation in the IXL Events Centre using the very latest audio visual technology.
The multiple award-winning Dallas Burston Polo Club, Pride of Stratford Business of the Year 2018, is the ideal location to host corporate events, with its unique position in the marketplace placing it amongst the fastest-growing event venues in the Midlands.
With the opening of a 43-bedroom hotel on-site in April 2019, Dallas Burston Polo Club will be able to offer overnight accommodation in corporate, wedding, events and private function packages.
Major Richard Carney MBE, Director of Operations at Dallas Burston Polo Club, comments,
“With the opening of our £12m boutique hotel in April 2019, we will be able to offer a wider choice to our guests. Each of the bedrooms will incorporate bespoke designs implemented to give every stay an individual feel. This includes different mural masterpieces on each ceiling, authentic antique decorations, bespoke woven carpets and antique crystal chandeliers. There will be a Roman themed hotel cocktail bar, bespoke front and back bars and an ornate wooden bridge to connect the garden rooms when they launch later in the year”.
