The Woodsman Restaurant, which is situated within Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon, is to host a special coronation BBQ on Monday 8 May from 1pm - 6pm. The Coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May at Westminster Abbey when His Majesty, King Charles III will be crowned alongside the Queen Consort. The Woodsman is headed by restaurateur Mike Robinson, co-owner of the Michelin-starred Harwood Arms in Fulham, whose passion for British produce and sustainable wild food is well renowned.
Visitors can enjoy delicious food including a Coronation Quiche, various meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes from the BBQ such as Cornish Sardines, Courgette, Aubergine & halloumi skewers, and a Venison Burger, along with various salads, and a choice of desserts. There is also entertainment throughout the afternoon from Vintage Ruby, a professional Jazz, Blues & Swing singer performing a range of classic cover songs. There will also be a selection of drinks to enjoy including Pimm's, Champagne and a special Coronation Cocktail.
