Following a move earlier this year to join Choice Hotels EMEA's Clarion brand, the Clarion Charlecote Pheasant Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon has now completed a refurbishment of 40 guest rooms and corridors in its Barford building, a key stage in the Hotel’s brand transition.
The newest Choice Hotels EMEA Clarion brand in the UK, The Clarion Hotel Charlecote Pheasant’s refurbishment reflects the new brand proposition which sees hotels weave in hallmarks of the local area to bring out their personality and create a richer experience that caters to guests’ sense of style. Interpreted here with a design showcasing the Hotel’s proximity to the birthplace of The Bard, the inspiration for a unique Shakespeare theme throughout the Hotel.
The refurbished guestrooms have been sympathetically designed to showcase the Hotel’s character and historic charm, bringing in a modern, comfortable style with a nod to the famous playwright. With new furnishings and the addition of 50-inch smart TVs, rooms also feature Story Cards and famous Shakespearean quotes as wall art. Images of Shakespearean destinations around Stratford-upon-Avon line the new-look Barford corridors. A Cabinet of Curiosities filled with a treasure trove of historic items from the Shakespearean era provides a strong visual first impression of the Hotel, and Shakespeare-themed cocktails in the bar continue the experience.
