Anacarda is delighted to have been recognised with a King’s Award for Enterprise, in the International Trade category.

This accolade is added to the Queen’s Award for Innovation received in 2021 for specialist Phenalkamine products offered under the Cardamine brand.

Anacarda is an innovative polymer supplier, offering specialist bio-based curing agents for epoxy resins derived from sustainable feedstocks, with a particular emphasis on waste biomass emanating from the cashew nut tree. The etymology of the company name stems from a twist on ‘anacardium occidentale’, the cashew nut tree that bears the nut from which the sustainable feedstock is harvested.

This specialist business was formed by three entrepreneurs, Paul H Jones, Brian Allen and Eric Van Nevel, who joined forces to explore their vision for Anacarda Ltd to become the leading supplier of innovative Phenalkamines that offer technical advantages, do not adversely impact the food chain, and aid our move away from petrochemical reliance.
