A world-leading quality management provider is celebrating its 30th anniversary over which time it has seen significant growth and diversification on a variety of fronts.

G&P, whose headquarters are in the UK and which now operates in more than 250 manufacturing facilities around the world, was formed in 1994.

Just four years later, CEO Dino Kyriacou joined and by 2001 had bought the UK operation which was followed in 2006 with the formation of G&P Group Holdings Ltd.

Originating with a client base in the automotive sector, it’s the diversification into adjacent markets and services that make the 30-year celebrations significant.

Dino said:

“2024 is a milestone year for G&P and we’re particularly proud to have diversified our business by offering much needed proactive, high value and technical quality management services.

“This has been in partnership by expanding into new sectors such as aerospace, off-highway and household goods, while growing our overseas operations.”

As well as winning major contracts with globally renowned manufacturers and their suppliers, another highlight over the last three decades includes receiving the highly coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, the UK’s highest business accolade.

Over the last 30-years the manufacturing landscape has changed beyond recognition in many areas, although important aspects remain constant – the need for G&P to support industrial manufacturers and associated supply chains to improve their quality, efficiency and profitability throughout the manufacturing process.

G&P has also focused the business to be at the forefront of battery, electronic drive units and prototype build activities using a broad range of expertise in a partnership with OEMs, startups and supply chains.

Dino added:

“G&P has a strong focus on developing our services portfolio to be one step ahead of the needs of our customers, while being at the forefront of technological developments and employee advancement so we can operate to the very best of our ability around the world.

“We’re also incredibly proud of the success of G&P Recruitment Services. It is our specialist talent acquisition arm that works closely with clients to enhance their resource planning and longer-term growth strategy, while supporting their short-term needs.

“Meanwhile, industry 4.0 and AI are both major factors as we move forward. The skills challenges linked to electrification is also key and we will continue to provide highly-skilled engineering and technical resources to overcome this.”

G&P is holding anniversary events at its UK headquarters in Birmingham, as well as at its overseas facilities.

The diversification of G&P’s high value services includes product development engineering, which has seen it accelerate a major OEM’s electric vehicle build programme among other areas, supply chain risk management and finished product services.
