iO Associates announces new office in Tampa to serve increased demand for cloud technology specialists
Tech, Digital and Engineering staffing specialists iO Associates has this week announced the launch of its first U.S. office in Tampa, Florida. The new U.S. arm will specialise in cloud technology staffing solutions.
The Bristol head-quartered firm, part of Precision Resource Group, has been supporting clients in the UK for over five years during which time it has experienced impressive growth and success. This includes boosting the Bristol office headcount to 70 employees and turning over just under £20m in the last financial year (up 25% from the previous year).
Strong investment and demand for financial services, insurance, medical and defence sector staffing has driven this latest expansion into Florida’s Gulf Coast. iO Associates has a proven track record in staffing for these industries.
iO Associates are bringing a unique proposition to the area offering staffing solutions exclusively within the cloud tech space.
Services introduced in Tampa will include recruiting the highest calibre of permanent and contract talent across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
The office launch has been led by Mark Lloyd, Managing Director, who says:
“We are thrilled to be expanding into the US cloud technology space and to be introducing something new and unique to the Tampa staffing market. Our success in the UK has cemented our position within the marketplace and we look forward to welcoming our new U.S. client base.”
iO Associates has become well known in the staffing space for its expertise in narrow technical disciplines but also for its technical meet-ups in the community. These have flourished under quarantine with online regional meet-ups for .Net, Java, Software Development, DevSecOps and Tableau continuing to receive over 300 attendees per event.
As part of their launch iO Associates have announced their partnership with Jeff Fudge, owner of meet-up groups Tampa Bay Azure and Tampa Bay AWS to support the skills growth of its cloud technology community.
