..Bristol Zoological Society – a leading conservation and education charity

Fosters Event Catering, a local Bristol-based contract catering business with over 60 years of experience, is excited to announce its new partnership at the Society's Wild Place Project – due to renamed Bristol Zoo Project in Summer this year.

As a catering partner, Fosters will work in close collaboration with the Society's team to provide quality food options that appeal to the diverse demographic of visitors, members, staff, and volunteers, at the zoo.

With its experience of operating high-profile and volume venue restaurants and cafes at high-profile and volume visitor attractions such as Westonbirt Arboretum, Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park and the Box Museum, Plymouth, Fosters brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to Bristol Zoological Society's catering services.

Our menus and offers are contemporary, innovative, and seasonally changing, reflecting the highest quality of fresh and locally-sourced produce.

Fosters is inspired by the ever-growing South West food and drink scene, and the menus reflect a total understanding of current trends while acknowledging and meeting the dietary requirements of all visitors and other customers to the same high standard. Quality, freshness, and local provenance are at the core of what Fosters believes in and embraces as a business.

Fosters is thrilled to work with Bristol Zoological Society, and the partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.

As a catering partner, Fosters will provide visitors with a range of delicious, locally-sourced food options. The use of locally-sourced produce not only supports the local community but also promotes sustainability by reducing the carbon footprint associated with transportation.

Neil Lodge, Chief Executive of Fosters Events, commented:

"We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen and given the responsibility of developing the food offer for Bristol Zoological Society at such an exciting time for the development and growth of the site.

"We will be working in close partnership with the Society to ensure that the offer we provide is aligned with the aims and values of the charity, and the exciting journey that they are on."

"At the core of all of Fosters' most successful and long-term relationships is a partnership approach, where Fosters and its partner work together towards common goals and objectives, sharing combined knowledge, experience, and passion to achieve them."

"The partnership with the Bristol Zoological Society marks a new and exciting opportunity and challenge for Fosters, and the company is excited to bring its expertise and passion to Wild Place Project – due to be renamed Bristol Zoo Project this Summer."

Jenny Stoves, visitor experience manager at Wild Place Project, said:

"We are hugely excited to have partnered with Fosters – a catering company which shares all of our sustainability and environmental commitments and reflects our objectives as a conservation charity."

"Hundreds of thousands of visitors pass through our gates each year and it's important to us that we can fuel their day with top-quality food and beverages, which are not only sourced locally but also compliment everyone's varying dietary requirements."

"We are already receiving amazing feedback about what's on offer and can't wait to see what's still to come."
