James O'Sullivan, CEO of the leading, independent, business transformation consultancy, Project One, has today been named the ‘Most Influential Business Transformation CEO of the Year 2023 – London' by CEO Monthly. You can read the feature "Consulting for Grown Ups" in this month's issue here.
This award recognises James' almost 30 years of experience in change and transformation, partnering with global organisations to deliver their most business-critical change and transformation programmes. Nominees are identified and determined by the in-house research team at CEO Monthly over a number of months.
This recognition follows the recent success with the Financial Times Leading Management consultants list where Project One was the highest-rated SME consultancy in Digital Transformation and Organisation and Change as well as our recognition from Great Place to Work as a best workplace for wellbeing. A great way to celebrate the first quarter of their 25th anniversary year.
On receiving his award, James recognises the power of the team as a success factor for Project One, saying:
"No person is an island, and no consultancy can be a success through the success of the critical few. Project One is a people business at its heart, they are our business asset, and our continued success is based upon the ‘power of the team'.
I'm humbled to receive this award and whilst we all have our own individual roles to play, accountabilities and responsibilities to deliver upon and live up to, the collective power that we bring to bear through our collaboration is tantamount to our success and our customers' success."
CEO Monthly's process begins with looking at individuals who meet or exceed their set criteria, within a range of industry sectors, and those who are innovators within their particular field. The criteria includes outstanding customer reviews and testimonials for the company, previous accolades and achievements of the individual and the business, digital presence, and company development and expansion.
