Redway Networks is pleased to announce that network engineer Lee Wright has achieved his Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) qualification - the final step in the Certified Wireless Network Professional Programme. CWNP has put in place a rigorous application process that requires candidates pass four certification exams, submit a technical white paper, three essays on completed commercial wireless LAN deployments, and have three recommendations as well as a peer review by the CWNE Board of Advisors.

By completing the CWNE requirements, Lee has demonstrated that he has the most advanced skills available in today's enterprise Wi-Fi market. Lee now joins a group of only 112 engineers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to hold the CWNE qualification.

Lee has spent seven years working in the wireless industry as a senior engineer for Redway Networks. He has made many contributions to many successful customer projects in both the education and commercial sectors. Lee has designed, configured, and installed over 100 networks for Redway's customers. These include challenging projects for complex warehousing and manufacturing facilities, working around design limitations in grade one listed buildings and deploying Wi-Fi for high density education environments such as auditoriums and dynamic learning spaces.

The CWNE certification means Lee has mastered all the relevant skills to administer, install, configure, troubleshoot, and design wireless network systems. In addition, CWNE engineers have a deep understanding of protocol analysis, intrusion detection and prevention, performance, Quality of Service (QoS) analysis, spectrum analysis and management and advanced design. In addition to CWNE, Lee holds twelve licences and certifications including Certified Wireless Professional certifications and vendor accreditations with Cisco Meraki, Extreme Networks and Cambium Networks.

In his drive to get accredited Lee says:

"Achieving this CWNE certification has been a long-term goal of mine made possible by the support and assistance of my colleagues within Redway Networks. I look forward to continuing my work on pioneering, enterprise Wi-Fi projects that help our customers improve connectivity and efficiency through high-performing networks."
