Colleagues came together for the firm’s annual celebratory event held at the VUE Cinema, where they were joined by the special guest of honour Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson. Tanni, one of Britain’s greatest Paralympic athletes, delivered a motivational and thought-provoking speech, inspiring Shield Safety’s employees and leaving them hungry for more success as they look to the future.

As part of the newly-expanded colleague recognition award ceremony, several accolades were presented to team members to commend their achievements over the past year, with awards including ‘Outstanding Achievement’, ‘Manager of the Year’, ‘Newcomer of the Year’ and ‘Culture Champion’. Long-standing employees were also recognised for their service and commitment, receiving awards for 3, 5, 10 and 20 years in the business.

In another key highlight of the energetic occasion, Shield Safety unveiled its plans for the next twelve months and shared an insight into the newly developed brand narrative. Colleagues also had the valuable opportunity to partake in a Q&A session with both the leadership and senior management teams.
