Enzygo’s Associate Director of Planning, Murray Graham contributes to the National Planning Barometer 2024.

In it’s 4th year, the SEC Newgate’s National Planning Barometer 2024 is a survey with questions on a range of planning-related issues, answered by 416 councillors sitting on local authority planning committees across England and Wales.

The survey takes a deep dive to untangle the complexities and challenges facing the UK housing and planning system in order to identify opportunities for driving change and easing pressure.

This year the barometer reflects the voices and views of multiple stakeholders from across the planning system including 20 planning and development specialists – one of which is our very own Associate Director of Planning, Murray Graham!

Murray joined Enzygo in 2022 with over 35 years’ experience in the Planning and Regeneration sectors, having worked extensively in both the public sector and consultancy. Murray has a wealth of experience across a wide range of projects and has managed numerous complex projects to successful conclusion in line with client expectation.

Murray was able to provide his unique perspective on the factors contributing to the issues affecting the planning system and what he thinks should be done to improve the situation.

The results of the barometer were announced at UKREiiF today …
