Starlight Investments has announced the achievement of a major development milestone with the topping out ceremony of Lighthaus, its flagship build-to-rent (BTR) development in Liverpool, UK. The celebration took place alongside team members and partners on January 29, 2025.
Lighthaus is a 31-storey residential tower currently under construction within the Princes Dock neighbourhood of Liverpool Waters, a large-scale development by Peel Waters. Featuring state-of-the-art facilities, the community’s design intends to establish a new standard for modern city living.
Located in one of Liverpool's most sought-after neighbourhoods, upon completion Lighthaus will feature 278 thoughtfully laid-out studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments appealing to a variety of residential needs. Future residents will have access to a range of premium experiences, such as a breathtaking sky lounge with panoramic views; a state-of-the-art gym; co-working spaces; a residents’ lounge; and a concierge service.
Lighthaus is one of nine BTR developments Starlight has under development across the UK. In 2024, the company announced several major acquisitions in Manchester, Leeds, Dartford and Basildon bringing its UK portfolio to over 3,600 suites under management.
The Lighthaus project reflects Starlight’s commitment to delivering best-in-class developments that enhance residents' lives and contribute to Liverpool's transformation into a world-class city. Developed in partnership with X1 and main contractors Vermont, Lighthaus will add an important new landmark to the ambitious Liverpool Waters regeneration programme.
