David Wilson Homes has unveiled its plans to help integrate its Ashtree Grove development into the community of Hampton in Arden by investing in local infrastructure and creating public open spaces.

Prior to the first occupation, David Wilson Homes contributed £12,000 towards bus stop infrastructure to connect its new development to the surrounding communities in Hampton in Arden and Solihull.

Additionally, it has contributed £20,000 towards pedestrian crossings and public right of way enhancements. This investment will make it easier for pedestrians to access the development and travel more sustainably.

On the development itself, the housebuilder has dedicated over 8,000m2 towards the provision of public open space for the benefit of the community. A large part of this land will be accessible to the local community prior to half of Ashtree Grove being occupied by residents.

Helen Lewis, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said:

“We are proud to help the communities that we are building flourish with contributions to local infrastructure, dedicating sections of land to public open space and designating 40% of the properties we build to affordable housing.

“Investing in the areas in which we build new homes is a significant part of each development. and we’re looking forward to enhancing this part of Hampton in Arden for new and existing residents.”

Ashtree Grove has a stunning collection of two to five bedroom properties available with prices starting from £450,000.

Situated in a prestigious village with a range of amenities nearby, the development offers a combination of a quiet lifestyle with fantastic access to Solihull and Birmingham.
