Leading supplier of meals to the Health and Social Care sectors, apetito, is continuing to grow – having announced it’s recruiting for a record number of new vacancies across the business.
apetito, along with its sister company Wiltshire Farm Foods, provides meal services to the elderly and vulnerable right across the country. The business has seen a surge in demand for its frozen meals service during the pandemic and is continuing to expand its workforce to meet the increased levels of orders.
apetito has currently over double its usual number of vacancies, with a large number of the roles based in its Portbury warehouse. The company is recruiting motivated warehouse operatives to join the busy warehouse team to help pick, pack, and load meal orders.
There are various flexible job opportunities available including working day or night shifts, both full and part-time. What’s more, as well as employee benefits including shift pay and bonus, apetito pays a premium rate to its warehouse staff as a thank you for working in the cooler temperatures of the cold-store environment.
In line with the ONS reporting record numbers of jobs being advertised, HR Director, Sharon Larkin says:
“We currently have lots of flexible vacancies to join our expanding workforce in our Portbury warehouse. Due to the chilly cold-store working environment we offer a premium rate of pay and it’s also an excellent opportunity to help the vulnerable during these difficult times, packing nutritious meals that will be sent out all over the country.”
