FuelHub, the online premium meal prep delivery service, has appointed Steve King as its new head of growth to build on its rapid rise as one of the nation’s leading brands in high-performance nutrition.
Formerly the group head of marketing at re-commerce giant musicMagpie, Steve brings a wealth of experience in performance marketing, brand growth strategy, and customer engagement and retention. He has a proven track record of utilising data-driven approaches to drive significant brand awareness and differentiation. During his time at musicMagpie, Steve was responsible for delivering musicMagpie’s SMARTDrop Kiosk which launched nationwide across over 300 Asda retail stores generating £15m in its first 18months.
As head of growth, Steve will be responsible for cementing FuelHub’s position as the go-to brand for high-performance nutrition and premium quality meals and identifying new avenues for growth and expansion. Part of this will be leading on technology upgrades, especially through the introduction of a mobile app to enhance the customer experience. He will also lead on securing major partnerships with fitness brands, sports franchises, as well as increasing collaboration with influencers to deepen FuelHub’s credibility and reach.
Steve’s arrival comes on the back of an impressive run of growth for FuelHub, which recently announced 90% year-on-year revenue increase since its inception in 2019, and a consistent 9% month-on-month rise in customer numbers and partnerships with top-tier sporting organisations.
