On Tuesday 23 April, HRH The Duke of Gloucester was given a warm welcome as he visited Regal House in Bradford, the head office site for Regal Food Products Group Plc.

Ed Anderson CBE, The Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire greeted His Royal Highness before introducing him to Younis Chaudhry, the Chief Executive Officer of the Regal Food Group, who started the official visit with a meet and greet with staff, and a presentation on the group's 20+ year journey and its portfolio of brands.

Followed by a behind the scenes tour of the bakery and manufacturing facilities, Younis Chaudhry guided HRH The of Duke Gloucester and The Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire around the bakery whilst witnessing some of Regal's household favourites being created, including Maderia cakes, biscuits, pastries, and of course Cake Rusk.

A plaque which reads "To commemorate the visit of HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO to Regal House. Tuesday 23 April 2024" was unveiled to mark the occasion and the visit.
