An award-winning Nottinghamshire company that provides managed IT services has been named in the list of Top Ten UK firms in the tech industry’s ‘Oscars.’

Your IT Department, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, has also been named No.1 in the Midlands, in the prestigious annual MSP 501 Awards.

The Eastwood-based company provides managed IT services to more than 100 businesses across the UK. This includes crucial cyber security support to help firms guard against an ever-increasing number of cyber attacks nationally.

Your IT Department’s Managing Director Lee Hewson, who co-founded the company in 2009, said he was delighted by the company’s success.

“This is a fantastic achievement and a result of all the hard work of everyone involved with the business,”

said Lee.

“We are proud of the high quality customer service and expertise we provide to our customers. From humble beginnings, the business has continued to grow successfully over 15 years. We now have a turnover of more than two million pounds.”

The Channel Futures MSP 501 Awards recognise the most influential and fast-growing providers of managed services in the technology industry worldwide.

As well as being ranked tenth in the UK, Your IT Department was placed 195th globally. The company was started by Lee Hewson and Director of Service Delivery, Simon Cox, and now employs 24 people.
