Award-winning workplace design company Interaction has appointed office design specialist and property tech innovator Kristoff DuBose as project director.
With a background in architecture and over 20 years’ experience in workplace design and build, Kristoff has worked on many high-profile property projects around the world.
They include the rollout of Apple’s UK stores and Lehman Brothers’ offices across Europe, as well as high-end hospitality projects including the Hakkasan Mayfair Chinese restaurant in London.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Kristoff also co-founded Rekreate, a property-tech platform that helps clients visualise tenant-ready Cat A+ office spaces before they are built – cutting costs and removing the need for empty site visits.
Kristoff previously worked for global architecture firm Gensler in London and has an architecture degree from the Pratt Institute in New York.
Dieter Wood, CEO of Bath-based Interaction, said:
“Kristoff is all about bringing energy to every workplace project – fitting for a Texan with a larger-than-life personality. So, he’ll fit in just fine here at Interaction.
“He’s passionate about designing destination offices that excite and support the people who work in them. His deep understanding of the design and construction process makes him a natural at building strong client relationships and offering a workplace vision that delivers – and exceeds expectations.”
Kristoff added:
“Interaction has been banishing boring offices since the early 1990s, so they are my kind of practice.
“They are single-mindedly focussed on finding innovative workplace solutions for their clients, designing future-ready spaces that attract talent, support employees and showcase their brands.”
